Accidental Damage
If you put your foot through the ceiling while you’re up in the loft digging out your Christmas decorations, having Accidental Damage as part of your buildings policy would sort it out. And if you smashed your favourite Ming vase, having Accidental Damage as part of your contents policy would see you right.

Drawing of an expensive jewelleryPersonal Possessions
Add this to your contents cover to give you extra protection for your possessions when they’re outside your home – things like jewellery, specs, cameras and mobile phones – in Britain, or abroad for up to 60 days.

If you’ve got a new camcorder it’s covered by your contents policy while it’s in the house. But take it out for the day to film your family frolicking on the beach and you’ll need Personal Possessions cover.

The maximum Personal Possessions cover is up to £1,500 for each item. If you’ve got any items worth more than £1,500, call us for a quote.

Please note, bikes aren’t covered under this option – if you’d like us to cover your cycle outside the home, call us on 0800 051 0595.
