- The v4.0 parent assocs cache used to store every verion of every node's parent assocs, so as we added a node to 60,000 sites, we retained all previous versions of the user's parent association map
- After creating 10,000 sites, the cache size was about 4GB, containing about 2 million parents
- Now we use a specialized class that allows an upper limit to be set on the total number of cached parents as well as children.
- Because the cache is keyed by node transaction ID, the cache can be non-clustered and non-transactional
- Once the average number of parents is more than 8, the cache will drop its oldest entries
- ParentAssocsInfo also now uses a compact TreeMap instead of a HashMap

ALF-14398: Webdav: Unfriendly behavior when a user without permissions (Contributor/Consumer) tries to rename space/content
Removed badly formed response generation. The original code generated a partial XML response that would not have been valid unless it was included in a proper multistatus XML fragment. In addition to this, the XML was not being flushed from the buffer so was not being written to the response anyway. Also, the status code was not applicable (409 CONFLICT) but should have been 403 FORBIDDEN. - Previous solution didn't work when failover manual login form was used (as Accept-Language header wasn't always sent by all Surf machinery) and would also mean Share wasn't responsive to browser locale changes, unlike when using the /s endpoint.
- Now we use a more foolproof solution on the /wcs endpoint
- Session initiation (as detected by an authentication filter) sets an attribute that decides whether a session 'sticky' locale should be used for the rest of the session
- It's set to false if a webscript is the first to access it or the session was established by a ticket. This means the Accept-Language header will drive the rest of the session.
- This also means Explorer can still control the locale of a session initiated by it
- Glad to see the back of this long-running bug. The good news is I now have a Kerberos EC2 image!

WebDAV: don't log ERROR-level stack trace for badly formed XML request body.

WebDAV: don't show stack traces for ClientAbortException (SocketException) errors.
When mounting WebDAV as a drive on Mac OS X (using finder) many ClientAbortException errors are raised. This appears to be due to the Mac dropping connections whilst the WebDAV handler is still trying to stream content back to the WebDAV client. ALF-13028: Sharepoint broken by changes to WebDAV
Integrated fix for ALF-11777 so that locks are not kept for more than 24 hours and 24 hour or infinite locks are dropped on user's session destruction. Extracted interface from WebDAVLockService and moved the implementation to WebDAVLockServiceImpl. Modified WebDAVLockServiceImpl to use the LockStore in-memory locking.
